Anti-Bullying March in Little Guyana Draws Support and Scrutiny Amid Online Feud
A community march promoted as an effort to protect children from cyberbullying drew participants to Liberty Avenue on Sunday, July 12, while also reigniting debate over the conduct of adults involved in a highly public social media dispute. The demonstration, known as “The Emily Walk,” began near Sybil’s in Richmond Hill’s Little Guyana neighborhood. Organizers Rhonda Bobb and Arianna Vee said the event was intended to support a minor who had allegedly been subjected to online harassment and to encourage greater accountability on social media.
